SIMposium Global

simposium 2013 145x145Date: 25th - 26th June 2013

Location: Amsterdam RAI

Organiser: Informa

The security, identity and mobility challenges of the internet connected world, as well as the opportunities leveraged by the secure element, will remain at the core of SIMposium 2013.

However, if one thing was concluded at the end of the 2012 SIMposium, it was that a lot of discussion is still needed and work to be done to combine the technology with the opportunities in the market.

Now is a ‘defining period’ (Sony) in the market, with different business models being tested against each other and case studies exposed.  The price of connecting to LTE and the eUICC is a big concern for the cost aware, fragmented and massive M2M market.

SIMposium 2013 will bring more end user case studies looking at how the secure element is enabling connectivity in automotive, health, utilities, retail and more.

We will also bring more stories of success from the crowded and fiercely competitive mCommerce space, giving insight from disruptive players, operator partnerships and the secrets of success from leading TSMs.

Handset manufacturers need to support their operator and vertical end user customers, a difficult task in an ever-changing market! We will bring you best practice from those leading with Sony!

With Cloud still a growing buzz world in telecommunications, SIMposium 2013 will break down the role the secure element plays in Cloud and online ID access.

The secure element will always be critical to mCommerce and M2M success, and we are already excited about working towards an even better SIMposium in 2013 which recognises secure element innovation!
