Vodafone to partner with Telekom Srbija

Telecoms giant Vodafone and leading Serbian operator Telekom Srbija have announced a new partnership agreement. It will cover Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Through this strategic partnership, the two companies say, Telekom Srbija will benefit from Vodafone’s global knowledge and experience as well as procurement capabilities. The relationship will enable Telekom Srbija to leverage Vodafone’s leading position in digitising its consumer product and service offerings.

Through the partnership with Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC), Telekom Srbija can access category insights and strategy coaching, consultancy or end-to-end sourcing execution, resulting in cost optimisation and value creation.

VPC leads purchasing and supplier management for Vodafone as a whole. VPC supports the needs of Vodafone’s operating companies and group functions and sells procurement services to third parties.

Operating under the mts brand in Serbia, Telekom Serbia offers mobile and fixed telephony, TV and internet services. Telekom Serbia Group boasts a versatile portfolio of telecommunication services and direct operations in several countries in the region, serving more than 10 million customers.

Over the last decade, the company has been building its capacities in the production and distribution of exclusive TV series, feature films and sports content.

Vodafone Partner Markets & Carrier Services Chief Executive Diego Massidda said: “We are delighted to welcome Telekom Srbija to our partner market family and look forward to working together to bring the benefits of our knowledge and expertise to their customers in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina.”
