Fasttelco launches fibre speeds of 200 Mbps in Kuwait

Fast Telecommunication (Fasttelco), an internet service provider (ISP) in Kuwait, has announced the launch of new fibre-optic internet speeds of 200 Mbps within its fibre residential areas in the country.

According to a media release from the the company owned by Ooredoo Telecom, the ISP was keen on being the first Internet service provider in Kuwait to provide customers and businesses with a high-speed connection by doubling the speed of the internet to reach to 200 Mbps.

"The new fibre-optic infrastructure means instant live messaging, faster online gaming experience, more efficient usage of smart home appliances, and seamless video calling," the company said.

In the statement, FASTtelco claimed that with the acceleration of life and the customers' constant need for fast and efficient new services and solutions, more efforts, partnerships and flexible strategies are required to sustain its relationship with customers and continue enriching people’s digital life.

"This unique service is a distinguished milestone in the Internet and information exchange sector, with which FASTtelco kicks of the new year, as it is specially designed for all customers who wish to obtain an unprecedented internet connection in terms of speed and performance through optical fibres, noting that it has thus succeeded in providing the best solutions that comply with all the needs and aspirations of its current and new customers," the release added.
