Philippines-based PLDT Global said on Thursday it has extended its exclusive partnership with Saudi Arabia’s STC Group for a second year to deliver high-quality international voice services across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.

Under the partnership, PLDT Global – the international business unit of PLDT Group – will leverage STC’s technological capabilities such as AI-powered routing optimization, fraud prevention systems and robust network security.

Albert V. Villa-Real, president and CEO of PLDT Global said the collaboration with STC will allow both operators to optimize international long-distance (ILD) traffic and deliver premium voice quality services for users with minimized disruptions.

“By combining STC’s technical expertise with our customer-first approach, we ensure that our customers experience world-class international voice services that bring them closer to what matters most,” he said in a statement.

Eng. Mohammed Alabbadi, group chief carrier and wholesale officer at STC Group, added that both operators “are committed to addressing the growing demand for reliable communication, driven by cutting-edge solutions and an unwavering focus on customer needs.”
