Indosat lifts net profit 12% on AI-led growth and network upgrades

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison reported a 12% increase in net profit for its 2025 financial year, pointing to AI-driven initiatives, network upgrades and service innovation as key growth drivers.

President Director and CEO Vikram Sinha said the operator delivered “robust revenue growth” alongside a rise in ARPU to IDR44,000, underpinned by “AI-powered hyper-personalisation, a stronger network, and our relentless focus on delivering a remarkable customer experience.”

The Indonesian operator posted full-year revenue of IDR56.5 trillion, up 9% year-on-year, while EBITDA reached IDR26.6 trillion. The company said the performance reflects “strong financial fundamentals and disciplined execution.”

Sinha added the group is reinforcing its long-term foundations through targeted investment, operational efficiency and AI-led transformation, as it looks to build a more resilient and inclusive digital ecosystem in Indonesia.

Indosat also highlighted the contribution of AI-based network software and services, including its 360 Scam and Spam Protection feature, as part of efforts to improve customer trust and experience.
