Find out how Hatem Dowidar is transforming e& (formerly Etisalat) from a telecom giant to become a global technology and investment powerhouse.
During his career, Dowidar has seen mobile, or telecoms companies, comfortably sitting among the top ten firms globally in terms of market capitalization. This was a key stimulus for Dowidar to look inside the company and effect the necessary change needed to reframe the future of its telco business through the lens of technology and digitalization. “When you are a CEO, it becomes more about what are the things that you are going to be remembered by? You want to be remembered for the good things you do for the company, the things you do for stakeholders, for the staff, for shareholders and overall, for the ecosystem.”
