Nokia partners with STL for enterprise push

Nokia announced it partnered with Indian optical and digital solutions company STL to develop enterprise and government-focused connectivity solutions.

In a statement, the Finnish vendor said the companies are aiming to serve the emerging enterprise need for data centre and hyperscale solutions. For this purpose, both companies will focus on use cases for multi-service premise edge connectivity, intelligent premises, and predictive operations.

Nokia noted, by focusing on these use cases, enterprise networks will be able to provide high-speed, high availability, low-latency connections for applications such as 5G, IoT, augmented reality, data centre interconnect, supply chain efficiency, real-time data analytics, and Gen AI use cases.

The partnership will additionally focus on government connectivity projects. STL will offer its connectivity solutions for core infrastructure and managed services. Nokia will provide its network solutions for IP and optical networks.

Nokia Head of Enterprise and Webscale business Vinish Bawa said: “This partnership with STL is aligned with our commitment to accelerate digital transformation across industries and governments. With STL's extensive expertise in end-to-end network solutions and Nokia’s experience in deploying mission critical networks, we are well-positioned to redefine enterprise connectivity in India.”
