Self-described fintech enablement partner Ukheshe Technologies, which launched its operations in Africa in 2018, has announced a new partnership with global next-generation card solutions and digital security company dzcard.
dzcard describes itself as a worldwide smartcard manufacturer that offers a wide range of customised solutions for various digital ecosystems. The partnership, say the two companies, will enhance dzcard’s customisable solutions for various digital ecosystems and locations.
Specifically, the partnership will leverage Ukheshe’s Eclipse API platform and its digital payments solutions, allowing both companies to deliver digital strategies within their respective markets.
Donovan Drew, President Asia-Pacific of Ukheshe, says the company’s digital payments enablement platform has expanded and evolved significantly as the financial services market seeks innovative solution providers that can address fundamental payment gaps.
He adds: “The partnership will provide further channels for dzcard to expand upon within the existing customer base and remain current in the fast-evolving digital payments domain. With this, Ukheshe will expand its footprint into Asia Pacific.”
Ukheshe Technologies is a global, digital-first financial services enabler. It was developed in 2018 as an SMME-focused digital platform to improve and address financial inclusion within South Africa. As we announced on this website, Ukheshe and Infobip recently developed South Africa’s first WhatsApp payment gateway.
Ukheshe is aiming to make a substantial impact globally as a digital-first fintech enabler through its Eclipse API and by partnering with banks, telcos and financial services providers, enabling them to pursue financial inclusion for their customers with tailor-made payment solutions.
