Telkomsel and Novosol form video advertising partnership

Indonesian market leading operator Telkomsel has signed a mobile video advertising deal with Novosol to boost high-margin mobile ad revenue in the country.

The Indonesian advertising market is worth around US$20 billion, and the companies aim to generate US$300 million within the first three years of their partnership. The agreement will allow brands, advertisers, agencies, and resellers to reach over 270 million Indonesian mobile users, including 170 million Telkomsel subscribers.

Novosol’s moLotus platform helps brands automate key processes and streamline operations as they pursue digital transformation. The platform lets brands interact directly with customers by pushing 40-second mobile video ads to smartphones or featurephones of any model, without requiring apps or data plans – unlike other ad platforms.

moLotus provides a comprehensive suite of capabilities, including global scalability, personalisation, customisation, interactivity, automation, and seamless integration. The fully online and secure portal provides advanced business and operational functionality to the ad ecosystem, maximising revenue generation.

The platform features easy interaction options as well as multiple charging metrics and ad formats, facilitating highly effective campaigns that drive increased visibility, response rates, conversion rates, and ultimately, improved marketing ROI and customer loyalty. Novosol is strategically investing in moLotus’s AI agent functionalities like ad creation, campaign optimisation, and data-driven insights.

Novosol has secured partnerships with leading global brands and telcos across Asia, including in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, India, and Vietnam, and is now building revenue and expanding into Western markets. moLotus has delivered revenue growth across several industry verticals, including banking, insurance, automotive, consumer goods, e-commerce, retail, and government.

Statista projects that the global mobile advertising market will exceed US$1 trillion by 2032 - a 600% surge in eight years. moLotus is well-positioned to capitalise on this growth in Asia and beyond through its unique differentiation, telco partnerships, and high-margin potential.
