Lao Telecom, Mono and JAS to bring EPL, FA Cup football to Laos

Lao Telecom Group and Thai streaming company Mono Streaming (Monomax) revealed on Monday they have formed a partnership with Thai satellite TV player Jasmine International (JAS) to bring live broadcasts from the English Premier League (EPL) and FA Cup to Laos.

The partnership – which was signed last week – enables Lao Telecom to offer a monthly football TV package exclusively via the Mono streaming app. Lao Telecom will serve as the primary distributor, investing heavily in both online and offline marketing efforts.

JAS currently holds full rights to broadcast Premier League and FA Cup matches for the 2025/2026 to 2030/2031 seasons – including live broadcasts, replays and highlights – in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.

Lao Telecom plans to launch the package in the middle of next month, with a seven-day free trial for customers who sign up during the launch period, and monthly subscriptions starting at THB129 (approximately LAK86,500, or roughly US$4.00).

Lao Telecom and Monomax said they hope to sign up over 500,000 subscribers to the service in the near future.
