me2me launches Visual Voice Messaging for smartphones

me2me AG has selected Iperia’s MobileVX platform for Visual Voice Messaging as part of its “String of Pearls” strategy, which aims to offer a full suite of voice and web services to Mobile Operators and other Service Providers.

me2me uses voice recognition technology to store information on the internet – users call their account, and anything they say is converted to text which can be retrieved at any time, either online or by calling the account.

Iperia’s MobileVX client applications for Visual Voice Messaging are available for BlackBerry, iPhone, Android and Symbian, with the Windows Mobile version launching in a few weeks. With MobileVX, me2me can by now offer complete Voice Messaging Systems – the platform, handset clients and applications - to enterprises and service providers. me2me AG is also preparing to offer voicemail transcription, both integrated in the VVM client or sent by SMS or e-mail.

Iperia’s next-generation voice and messaging applications provide a unified environment for its business and consumer subscribers. Applications like Voice Messaging are easily accessed through various end point devices. At the suite’s core is the IperiaVX platform, based on a Service Oriented Architecture, and web services which allow for new and existing applications to integrate into a voice-enabled framework with complete interoperability of shared resources and systems. The MobileVX clients can also integrate with other voicemail systems.

”The me2me strategy is a great fit for leveraging Iperia’s platform and product capabilities.  We are very pleased me2me has selected Iperia to complement their enhanced service offerings,” commented Sam Waicberg, CEO of Iperia.  “This combination brings new efficiency levels and ease of use to personal and business communications.”

“We are excited to add VVM clients to our offering, especially when it comes to improving personal efficiency. me2me’s core products are aimed at helping people save time and efforts by making their important daily-life information readily available anywhere, at any time”, said Peter Hauser, CEO of me2me AG.
