Kasapa expands in Ghana

Ghana 's only CDMA cellular network has been extended to Obuotabiri, adding voice mail to its range of value-added-services.

Hutchison subsidiary Kasapa Telecom's upgrade to digital cellular from analogue technology has means that with Kasapa Voice Message subscribers will no longer need to miss calls when they are busy. Voice Message is automatically enabled for all subscribers, and takes over the call when it has not been answered after six rings or when the phone is off.

The service is free-of-charge and comes with no activation fee or monthly charge.
