FreeConferenceCall.com launches in three African markets

Collaborative communications provider FreeConferenceCall.com has launched free conference calling in Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa.

Users in these markets can access free Audio Conferencing as well as features such as Audio Recording and Mobile Applications.

The service gives consumers, businesses, charities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and governments immediate access to conference calling services with a simple user experience. Users can host up to 1,000 callers on an unlimited number of six-hour conference calls.

“Giving people immediate access to free conference calling and collaboration tools is a game-changer for local communities and businesses,” says David Erickson, Founder and CEO of FreeConferenceCall.com. “We have selected these markets because we believe our services can have the greatest impact on local people and result in more opportunities to expand our presence in Africa.”

“We are looking to expand our relationships with African carriers, as our revenue sharing model creates new opportunities to monetise local infrastructure and drive profitability,” says Josh Lowenthal, COO at FreeConferenceCall.com. “A partnership with FreeConferenceCall.com requires no capex, no opex, and no receivables risk. As the OTT on the PSTN, we offer a no-lose mechanism for regional fixed and mobile operators to bolster voice traffic using existing infrastructure."
