Veon has partnered with ZTE to deploy Uzbekistan’s largest virtualised SDM (Subscriber Data Management) platform via its local unit Beeline.
The platform will help Beeline to boost its network performance while reducing its total OPEX but 60%. Network reliability has been increased to 99.9999%, enabling better user experience and ensuring the security and reliability of user data.
As the user data management center of the mobile network, the vSDM platform can manage 2G, 3G, 4G LTE network and EIR (Equipment Identity Register) to accomplish requirements such as integrated development of multiple networks and high-capacity data maintenance. The platform will also help Beeline prepare for 5G evolution.
To ensure efficient network deployment, ZTE employed its iEPMS (Intelligent Engineering Project Management System) for the for the full-process professional management of key benchmarks, such as equipment arrival, installation and debugging, first call connection, PAT test and network cutover.
Moving forward, ZTE will work with Beeline further to achieve better service innovation and growth through digital operation.
