[Thai operator AIS is in the news again today](https://developingtelecoms.com/telecom-business/operator-news/16392-ais-to-offer-google-workspace-in-thailand.html), this time through the announcement that it is joining forces with IPification to deliver next-generation phone number verification solutions to Thailand.

IPification describes itself as the leading global provider of mobile IP address-based authentication, phone verification, and fraud prevention solutions.

To successfully complete phone verification, users need to input their number and click once, and their request is completed within milliseconds.

With the solution, say the partners, mobile app developers in Thailand get to provide a bank-grade secure and frictionless user experience. In turn, their user acquisition, retention, and engagement rates are expected to increase.

“AIS recognises the importance and benefits of enabling developers to access services and capabilities of telecommunications service providers, which will support and expedite the development of secure applications and digital services with seamless user experience,” says Mr Phupa Akavipat, Acting Chief Enterprise Business Officer, AIS. He continues: “Prioritising the security of digital services users will positively impact the overall economy. Partnership with IPification will accelerate mobile application development through API more efficiently and foster digital application innovation for the future.”

IPification says it currently has coverage of over 3.5 billion subscribers globally with its flagship phone verification solution, which is now also present in Thailand.
