Bangladeshi operator Banglalink has contracted ZTE to build what will be the world’s largest virtual subscriber data management (vSDM) platform.
Over 35 million users of Banglalink will benefit from the newly transformed network, which has made Banglalink’s network the world's largest vSDM platform.
vSDM will help manage Banglalink’s customer data more efficiently and increase service availability. The upgraded network can simultaneously support 2G/3G/4G/ voice over WiFi (VoWiFi)/ voice over long-term evolution (VoLTE) and other high tech services. With this virtualised network, users can enjoy faster mobile broadband, video chat, multimedia conferences, multimedia messaging and other services. This technology will also ensure a faster network and its seamless connectivity will help users engage with the digital world.
