Qvantel, a major name in digital business support systems (BSS), has announced that it has implemented the customer relationship management (CRM) system from Qvantel Flex BSS for Mexican mobile operator Altan Redes.

Altan Redes will provide access to the CRM system, running on AWS, to over 70 different mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs).

Qvantel says its system was implemented in just 75 days. The configuration over coding approach of Flex, Qvantel’s library of out-of-the-box use cases and running the system on AWS cloud contributed to a rapid implementation.

The company explains that says that Qvantel Flex BSS is a no / low code, cloud-native digital BSS that is enabling communication service providers to quickly transform to digital service providers.

Jorge Ruiz, CTO, Altan Redes says: “We want to enable rapid take-up of service from our MVNO partners and so help increase digital inclusion in Mexico. To make this happen, we need the MVNOs be able to quickly and easily onboard customers. We need to ensure that the mobile app we provide is easy to understand and use. All our BSS processes need to be simple and as automated as much as possible – and working with Qvantel ensures that we have the most agile system available to deliver the best customer experience possible.”

Rubén López, VP LATAM, Qvantel, adds: “Our implementation on AWS will support over 70 different MVNO brands which demonstrates that a CRM system needs to be able to support ecosystems of many different brands in today’s digital markets. The system can onboard new MVNOs in days which is key to quickly expand to provide a nationwide sales and support network.”
