Turkish operator Turkcell and tech vendor Nokia have signed an agreement to elevate fixed broadband performance and customer experience across the Turkcell network by using Nokia’s AI-powered fixed network analytics solution.
The deployment, says Nokia, will provide a consolidated, real-time view of network performance across home and access domains, serving three million fixed broadband subscribers across Turkey, with additional plans for future expansion.
This initiative, it adds, sets a new benchmark for fixed analytics in Turkey by extending AI-driven automation beyond traditional network monitoring. Turkcell and Nokia will develop and validate machine learning (ML) use cases using Agentic AI, applying predictive analytics and anomaly detection directly to live networks.
Through joint field trials, technology demonstrations and ecosystem collaboration, the aim is to enhance decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to global fixed analytics standards.
The solution will also enable Turkcell to detect and resolve network issues before they impact customers. This automation will significantly reduce service disruptions, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
With Nokia’s AI and analytics solution, Turkcell will leverage Nokia’s AI/ML algorithms developed by Nokia’s pioneering research labs, Bell Labs, to deliver automated recommendations to operations and customer care teams.
These insights will allow teams to resolve network issues remotely and pre-emptively, minimiaing call handling times and improving first-call resolution rates.
By integrating DSL, fibre, and fixed wireless access networks into a single, unified big data platform, the solution enables cross-domain analytics to optimise network performance at scale.
