A major Central American communications service provider has chosen to consolidate its existing mediation systems supporting customers in Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua and El Salvador. Telefónica Central America is using Comptel’s scalable platform for the consolidation.
Unifying its mediation systems will allow the operator to collect and transform daily network transactions - of which there are over half a billion - into billable records. In addition, the platform will facilitate greater organisational collaboration and more efficient business processes, allowing for improved time-to-market and lower total cost of ownership.
