Aruban operator Setar has selected Acision’s Diameter Intelligent Signalling Controller (DiSC) to support real-time rating across its 2G, 3G and 4G-LTE networks.
By deploying Acision DiSC, Setar can effectively broker and route local and international voice traffic generated by all of its networks, providing the best customer experience and assuring appropriate tariffs are applied to all calls, regardless of the location and characteristics of the subscriber.
As the number one telecommunications provider in Aruba, Setar brings innovation and digital technology to local communities, being the first network operator to introduce Internet, cellular, video calling, Mobile TV and wireless broadband to the Aruban market. As part of its evolution plan towards next generation networks, including preparations to deploy VoLTE in the future, SETAR chose Acision’s DiSC to manage, optimise and differentiate network elements, while effectively charging all traffic in real-time, ensuring better service quality and reducing CAPEX and OPEX costs.
