Cloud services package evolves T-Mobile Poland’s offering

T-Mobile Poland is introducing cloud services across the country using a software package provided by Comarch.

The main elements of this solution include a module which integrates the operator’s own services with third party services and offer them online, a self-service portal together with a mobile application, and a package of specialised modules of Comarch BSS, such as a central product catalogue and an authorisation system.

“Companies already know that the cloud is not a technological revolution, but an evolution in using computer software. Companies are more willing to buy cloud services because it means benefiting from the latest IT software without having to make large investments. The barriers to entry and to exit are low”, said Zbigniew Rymarczyk, Vice President, Director of the ERP Business Unit.

According to Analysys Mason the cloud services market is growing faster than the general IT one – in 2012 it was evaluated at $18.3 billion, and is forecasted to grow to $31.9 dollars by 2017. According to Analysys Mason, telecom operators will have an 18% share of the global revenue from these kinds of services. i
