4G infrastructure expansion underway in Poland

Polish operators Polkomtel and Aero2 have chosen Ericsson to supply WCDMA and LTE infrastructure in Poland.

The aim is to increase network coverage and capacity. Ericsson will also provide support for the upgraded network and assist in modernizing the core network. 

Wojciech Pytel of Polkomtel, said: "Together we will meet our customers' expectations for high-quality interactive mobile broadband services in Poland."

Emil Nilsson, Vice President for Central Europe at Ericsson, said: "This first LTE contract reiterates our commitment to the Polish market.”
