3 Indonesia deployed software from Indian mobility solutions provider Comviva, in a bid to tackle stock issues on its device voucher top-up system and enhance the customer experience.
In a statement, Comviva said the operator installed its PreTUPS Voucher Management System (VMS), a “state of the art software” which manages all stages of a voucher’s lifecycle – from generation, distribution and redemption.
3 Indonesia upgraded from Comviva’s PreTUPS for electronic recharge and a legacy system for physical recharge vouchers from a different vendor, Comviva will manage both electronic and physical recharge vouchers.
Comviva stated the system tackles low voucher stock supply by enabling 3 Indonesia to track vouchers end-to-end, allowing the operator to locate near-expiry stock, redistribute vouchers and prevent stock outages.
Sanjeev Rawat, 3 Indonesia CTO said: “Voucher Management System is one of the important customers facing and revenue impacting system. It is a crucial platform serving multiple business requirements. Hence, we partnered with Comviva, provider of one of the most widely deployed and reliable platform in recharge distribution domain, to enhance our capabilities of recharge voucher generation, distribution and management. PreTUPS VMS will not only bring operational benefits but will also help us to optimally meet customer demand for recharge vouchers.”
David Peters, Comviva head of South East Asia added: “We are happy to extend our partnership with 3 Indonesia in the recharge distribution and management. We are confident that like PreTUPS Electronic Recharge solution, PreTUPS Voucher Management System will also add value to 3’s business and help it to serve its customers better.”
