VNPT selects RADCOM for AI-driven roaming assurance

Vietnamese operator VNPT has selected Israeli telecom software provider Radcom to provide service assurance for its roaming network, replacing its incumbent vendor following a competitive tender.

Radcom will deploy its cloud-native ACE platform across multiple cloud environments, giving VNPT real-time visibility into roaming services and using AI and machine learning to detect network anomalies.

The platform will provide subscriber-level monitoring and identify potential service issues before they affect customers. Its containerised, multi-cloud architecture is designed to allow VNPT to scale the system as its network and services expand.

VNPT, which operates the Vinaphone brand, has more than 30 million subscribers and is one of Vietnam's largest telecom operators. Radcom said the contract provides a potential foundation for extending its service assurance platform beyond roaming to other parts of VNPT's network.

The deal is also a significant Asia-Pacific reference win for Radcom, which said VNPT's selection followed a competitive request-for-proposal process and involved replacing an existing assurance supplier.

Radcom said the VNPT contract was one of three contracts it secured after the end of its second quarter of 2026.
