Global technology services provider NTT Ltd has announced plans to adjust its business structure in India, bringing together three key business entities as a single organisation from 1 January 2021.
The new operating company will be built on the foundations of NTT India Pvt. Ltd, NTT Com India and Netmagic.
NTT says that through this integrated entity it will bring innovative technology services and solutions to the extended client base in India. It also suggests that the integration will enhance the organisation’s end-to-end ability to better serve its clients with both transformational service elements – including managed hybrid infrastructure and cloud services – as well as with its foundational technology solutions and service.
With the change in structure comes a change in leadership: the appointment of Sharad Sanghi as Leader of the NTT Ltd India business, again from 1 January. At the moment Sanghi is the CEO – Global Data Centres and Cloud Infrastructure (India) of NTT Ltd (also known as NTT Netmagic).
He has over 20 years of experience in developing internet backbone infrastructure and providing internet services and has, the company says, successfully established and grown Netmagic as an Indian market leader in data centre and cloud services.
NTT says that in the last 10 years its Indian business has grown exponentially to emerge as one of the largest country operations in NTT Ltd globally.
