Bharti Airtel is providing its global customers with low-cost calls to the Philippines via a new partnership with Globe Telecom.

The agreement will make use of Airtel’s voice calling app, Airtel Talk. Users will be able to make unlimited high-quality VoIP calls to their Globe and TM contacts in the country for as little as US$14.99 or P700 for a 30-day period, or only P23.30 per day.

Available on iOS and Android, Airtel Talk offers superior call quality, exclusive call me free service, multi-party conferencing, voice message chat, multi-device access, free audio/video app-to-app calling, and instant phonebook access.

“Calling remains an effective means to connect Filipino families with each other and through this collaboration, we are able to offer an affordable calling plan via Airtel Talk,” says Nikko Acosta, Senior Vice President for International Business Group at Globe.

Ajay Chitkara, Director & CEO, Global Voice & Data Business, Airtel said, “Airtel Talk currently caters to the communication needs of the ethnic Diaspora and has launched features like Share Credit with Friends that allows users to share calling credit with those who are unable to buy credit and Call Me Free which enables friends and family to call Airtel Talk users for free using any Airtel landline/Mobile.
