Operator Orange Tunisie has announced the inauguration of a new data centre in Sousse in the central-east part of Tunisia. This latest-generation data centre is described as part of the country's digital transformation and, Orange Tunisie says, has been designed to meet the highest standards of performance, security and resilience.
With an area of 1,000 square metres and a technical environment compliant with the Tier III standard, this new data centre guarantees maximum availability of hosted services thanks to complete redundancy of its systems. It has been designed to offer reliable, secure and scalable solutions, meeting the growing needs of Tunisian companies in the digital field.
Indeed, it is intended to support not only the internal needs of Orange Tunisie, but also those of its B2B customers. It will offer high-quality hosting solutions, covering services such as cloud, backup, or business continuity, in a locally controlled environment. It is, says Orange Tunisie, specifically aimed at companies looking for efficient and secure digital solutions.
Described as a 100% Tunisian project, the data centre is said to be the result of collaborative work between Tunisian companies, reflecting local know-how in the fields of engineering, IT infrastructures and digital services. The data centre also benefits from a strategic location offering optimal accessibility.
