NetOne & Sprint Establish PoPs in Moscow

Russian business telecom services provider NetOne, operating in and around Moscow, has selected Moscow One Datacentre to establish a point of presence (PoP).

Opened in 2012, Moscow One Datacentre is a stand alone facility located within the MKAD ring road of Moscow. Operated by IXcellerate, the datacentre offers pure-play co-location designed to meet the standards of financial institutions, multinational corporations, international carriers and major content operators in Moscow and the surrounding region.

NetOne caters to a broad range of corporate customers in and around Moscow. The company designs, implements, operates and maintains solutions ranging from basic telephone systems and ISP services to geographically distributed installations and outsourcing arrangements.

Moscow One Datacentre customers include Orange Business Services, NTT, Le Pain Quotidien group and a major international market data company. The carrier-neutral facility offers resilient connectivity in Russia and to the rest of the World and claims to be comparable to the quality of datacentres in America and Western Europe.

NetOne joins a fast growing list of carriers of the Tier 3+ Moscow facility. Only one week earlier US carrier Sprint announced that it too had established a PoP at the Moscow One as part of ongoing investment in its network capabilities within Europe, Middle East and Africa.

"It is exciting to welcome NetOne to our datacentre, offering yet another excellent choice for our existing and future clients," commented Dmitry Fokin, Managing Director of IXcellerate.

"By joining IXcellerate's fast growing community we drive to provide the best that is available in telecom industry for Moscow One's clients," commented Aleksandr Samodurov, General Director of NetOne.
