Bashcell, a telecoms company dating from 1998 in the Bashkortostan Republic, has signed a contract for supply, implementation, and technical support of the end-to-end convergent IT solution.
The supplier is CBOSS Corporation and the contract continues the cooperation between the companies dating back to 2002. At that time, the company’s GSM network was supported by a billing solution from another well-known software developer.
Simultaneous use of two systems has turned out to be economically ineffective especially at a time of expansion and dynamic growth of the company’s subscriber base. Bashcell need is for an end-to-end convergent solution that will allow operational-cost reduction and will meet growing market requirements. When the project is implemented, Bashcell will be provide GSM, DAMPS, PSTN, and Internet services based on a single comprehensive IT solution, giving Bashcell competitive advantages.
CBOSS is confident it will replace the legacy GSM billing system quickly and without service interruption. The CBOSS product range to be deployed by Bashcell includes the automatic customer care system CBOSSacc, Internet customer service CBOSSics, scalable Internet platform CBOSSip, prepaid billing system CBOSSprepaid, short message service centre CBOSSsms, multimedia messaging system CBOSSmms, USSD centre CBOSSussd, mediation system CBOSSmdDrive and many others.
Under the contract, CBOSS will also deliver the whole spectrum of professional services.About Bashcell: Founded in 1998, Bashcell CJSC provides telephony (GSM, DAMPS, PSTN), Internet, VoIP, and telematics in the Bashkortostan Republic.
