Risk management software vendor, Neural Technologies is enabling telecoms operators to beat the global recession by offering its risk management software solutions on a pay-on-performance basis. What this means is that if its solutions do not deliver the expected results, organisations do not have to pay!

Neural Technologies' suite of solutions provides risk management capability in the areas of fraud, revenue assurance, bad debt and churn. The company's client list comprises some of the world's leading telecoms operators, including Orange, T-Mobile, AT&T, Zain, Brasil Telecom and VimpelCom.

The ability to maximise revenue is even more crucial in the current financial climate. As Luke Taylor, Neural Technologies's Commercial Director explains, "We are finding that there is even more need for our solutions in this current worldwide recession. Telecoms operators have faced many challenges over recent years, with consolidation in the market, aggressive competition and a reduction both in tariffs and ARPU from voice services. The current financial crisis makes it even more imperative to protect profits.

"In these uncertain times operators need cast-iron guarantees that any solution they implement will deliver the promised results. That is where we come in. Neural Technologies offers its solutions on a pay-on-performance basis. That is, if we don't deliver, operators don't pay!  This way operators have a guarantee that Neural Technologies will do everything possible to ensure the success of the project, both on implementation and during the solution's lifetime".

The pay on performance scheme requires no licence fee for the software, just initial implementation and training fees. Operators agree mutually acceptable and pre-defined targets with Neural Technologies, and thereafter only pay when the solution satisfies those targets.  "This approach equates to minimal initial integration and implementation expenditure and an immediate improved revenue stream and bottom-line return", said Luke Taylor.

* Neural Technologies has a customer base of around 40 organisations worldwide, comprising AT&T, Sprint, Brasil Telecom, T-Mobile, MTN, Zain, Telkom SA, Orange, 02, VimpelCom, TDC, GE Money, DiGi Malaysia, Axtel and Digitel. It is based in the UK, with offices around the globe.
