The largest cellular provider in Malaysia is facilitating its next-generation infrastructure rollout with a new OSS platform. Celcom Axiata Berhad (Celcom) will also be able to improve assurance processes and customer experience with NetCracker’s Telecom Operations and Management Solution (TOMS) solution.
Celcom provides coverage to 98% of the populated areas in the country and has a subscriber base of more than 11 million customers. NetCracker will provide the operator with a comprehensive mobile infrastructure management solution focused on asset centralisation, next-generation network rollout processes, and key capabilities for the fulfilment of value-added services.
NetCracker’s TOMS capabilities will create centralised management for Celcom’s transmission, core, and radio networks and will provide an up-to-date, end-to-end view of all network data through synchronisation and reconciliation with a wide variety of NMS/EMS systems covering all network technologies.
