Intamac Systems announces major-player platform compliance

Aimed at meeting all the major reporting, monitoring and control protocols, Intamac's latest device is aimed at putting customer needs at the top of the agenda in home and office automation.

The Intamac Systems platform is now available for all protocols involved in supporting Internet access and monitoring ecosystems. Intamac claims that its new platform enables devices to report using PSTN, wireless GSM, email and IP routing, as well as proactive monitoring and control via protocols such as X10, Zigbee and ZWave technology.

"We're seeing new entrants coming into a burgeoning home and office automation and control marketplace but often aligning themselves with various proprietary protocols. We believe this is a mistake as it will stymie user choice and thus retard marketplace development and not allow for the value created by the deployment of the most sophisticated and flexible systems," says Intamac CEO, Kevin Meagher.

Intamac's philosophy is to utilise the latest and most reliable technologies in order to offer its delivery partners a wide variety of choice in how they build and deploy home and office monitoring and control systems. Already working with global partners including BT, Bell Canada and IAG (Australia and New Zealand's largest insurance provider) Intamac claims it is already allowing thousands of customers to remotely monitor and control any system, device or appliance that sends or receives information worldwide.
