A partnership to help satellite service providers access Brazil’s connectivity market has been announced between satellite connectivity provider SatADSL and Telespazio, a satellite solutions and services company with a wide international network of space centres and teleports.
Telespazio Brazil will offer connectivity via SatADSL’s Cloud-service Delivery Platform (C-SDP) and the Yahsat3 satellite, providing 26 Ka-band spot beams supported by ST Engineering technology. This will enable SatADSL to deploy its full range of dynamic services across the country and provide Telespazio Brazil with access to additional markets in Latin America.
SatADSL says that the C-SDP facilitates customer connectivity while eliminating the high cost traditionally associated with satellite infrastructure. It adds that by virtue of this new partnership between Telespazio and SatADSL, dynamic and high-performance IP access will be made more readily available in Brazil, providing a valuable utility during the ongoing pandemic, where reliable connectivity is becoming more and more essential.
This new partnership represents a continuation of SatADSL’s efforts to fulfil its vision of providing ‘continent-to-continent connectivity’ with its C-SDP, breaking down the cost barriers traditionally associated with satellite deployments, even in the most remote regions.
This announcement follows hard on the heels of a partnership between SatADSL and Azercosmos, operator of the Azerspace-1 & Azerspace-2 satellites, through which SatADSL, thanks again to its C-SDP, will provide accessible and reliable internet access using the Central Asian beam of the Azerspace-1 satellite.
