Talia is expanding its iDirect Evolution (DVB-S2) services to South America, served through Telesat Telstar 12, KU band. The same network provides services for the Middle East, Europe, Russia, North America, West, Central and East Africa.
'We're incredibly excited to enter the South American market with Evolution,' said Alan Afrasiab, Talia's Chief Executive Officer. "We've waited some time so that we could enter the South American market with the best combination of technology and coverage.
iDirect evolution, when combined with Telesat Telstar 12, gives us exceptional tools to bring out an exceptional service."
With expansion into South America, Talia now provides services throughout the Middle East, Europe, Africa, North and South America. Talia offers iDirect shared networks both on Infiniti and Evolution technologies, iSCPC, DVB-S2/SCPC dedicated, and SCPC/SCPC dedicated throughout all five regions. Services are provided in Ku and C bands on a combination of satellites. Network details and coverage maps are available on Talia's website.
'We've always followed a growth plan to cover as many physical regions as possible,' said Travis Mooney, Talia's Chief Operations Officer. "We can now offer complete service to multi-national NGOs, charitable organisations, and corporations, as well as individual sites with the best-fit solution in four major markets."
