Apple to open first Malaysian store

Apple continued its retail expansion in Asia by revealing it will open its first Apple Store in Malaysia in June.
The Apple Store will be opened on June 22 and located in The Exchange TRX shopping centre in Kuala Lumpur. The grand unveiling will be at 10am local time.
Apple is moving to make up lost ground in China by expanding its retail footprint in emerging markets in Asia. Last month, the American technology giant opened its first of two Apple Stores in India.
Apple’s market share in China fell from 19.7% to 15.7% in Q1 according to Counterpoint Research, due to rising intense competition from local brands such as Huawei and Vivo.
