Sri Lanka Telecom opts for NetCracker’s revenue management

Sri Lanka Telecom has deployed new revenue management, interconnect and mediation solutions from NetCracker.

The upgraded NetCracker Revenue Management solution will provide Sri Lanka Telecom with a number of unique benefits, including rapidly responding to evolving market conditions. The operator will also be able to create a seamless, end-to-end revenue management process and accelerate time-to-market for new services, bundles and agreements.

“These solutions will enable us to personalise customer-centric offerings and improve customer satisfaction. Combining our business expertise and implementing modern systems and processes ensure that our customers are able to harness the full potential of our product portfolio by enabling more value additions,” said Dileepa Wijesundera, Group CEO of Sri Lanka Telecom.

“By enabling a faster time-to-market for next-generation offerings and services and allowing us to configure new pricing models on the fly, NetCracker’s Revenue Management solution will help us compete aggressively in Sri Lanka’s growing communications market,” said Ajantha Seneviratne, Chief Marketing Officer at Sri Lanka Telecom.

By consolidating and upgrading Sri Lanka Telecom’s rating, billing, mediation and interconnect solutions into NetCracker’s next-generation Revenue Management solution, the Sri Lankan service provider can experience a number of new opportunities. These include the ability to compete more aggressively with other operators; to introduce new pricing, rating and billing configurations with ease; to reduce time-to-market for new services; and to significantly streamline revenue management operations.

“An agile and responsive BSS environment is important for communications service providers around the world to develop leading-edge strategies and long-term revenue streams,” said Loh John Wu, Vice President Asia Pacific at NetCracker.
