Indonesian operator 3 PT Hutchison 3 Indonesia (H3I) has partnered with net mobile AG to enable direct carrier billing for Windows apps purchases.
Customers of the country’s second largest mobile broadband provider can now use their phone balance as opposed to a credit card as their preferred payment method to pay for games and apps.
Sebastian Böhm, Senior Vice President and Executive Director responsible for Payment Solutions at net mobile AG adds: “Indonesia is a fast growing market in South-Eastern Asia with 254.3 million inhabitants and more than 318.5 million mobile connections. SIM penetration, at 125%, is much higher than credit card penetration which is only 6.2% or 15.8 million cards. As a result, we are happy to enable H3I’s Windows Phone users to pay for digital goods such as applications and games easily and securely via their mobile phone bill.”
net-m’s payment infrastructure makes it easy to connect different payment interfaces and guarantees stringent compliance with various regulatory and technical requirements when in operation. Users can pay for purchased digital goods easily and safely via their mobile phone bill with net-m’s one-click Direct Carrier Billing payment method.
