Dialog Axiata unveils AI scanning in telemedicine app

Dialog Axiata unveiled what it described as Sri Lanka’s first AI-powered health scanning feature in its telemedicine app Doc990, which claims to be able to monitor multiple key indicators of health directly from smartphones.

In a statement, Dialog explained the Doc990 app can now monitor blood pressure, heart rate, heart rate variability, and stress levels directly from smartphones or other devices through this new AI scanner.

Doc990 is a digital health platform in Sri Lanka that provides healthcare services such as appointment management, remote doctor consultations, medicine home deliveries, healthcare services at home, and medical record keeping.

Dialog stated the AI scanning feature enables “effortless” monitoring of vital health metrics, democratising healthcare for Sri Lankans.

The app update is available to download now.
