Veon-owned Banglalink has regained ISO 27001:2022 certification for its information security management systems, reaffirming its compliance with international cybersecurity standards.
The Business Standard reported, the Bangladeshi operator said the recertification reflects strengthened security controls and its ability to protect customer data in line with global best practices.
ISO 27001:2022 is an internationally recognised benchmark for managing information security risks and safeguarding sensitive data.
Banglalink CTO Huseyin Turker said the certification underscores the company’s focus on data protection and service reliability, adding that the operator plans to continue investing in advanced security technologies and employee awareness programmes.
