Saudi fixed lines stall as GSM market booms

Propelled to new heights by competition, GSM lines in Saudi Arabia grew by 44.8% rate in the first eleven months of 2005 to reach 13.3 million. Fixed line, however, grew by a meagre 2.5% in the first nine months of 2005.

A new comprehensive report from the Arab Advisors Group (Saudi Arabia Communications Projections Report 2006) offers deep insights into Saudi Arabia , the Arab World's largest telecommunications market by revenues.

The 83-page report, which offers information under 87 headings, provides detailed analysis on the Saudi Arabia telecoms market and on all the major operators in the market. Purchasing it can also count towards attending Arab Advisors' third annual Media and Telecoms Convergence Conference on June 6 & 7 2006.

"Saudi Arabia Communications Projections Report 2006" was released to the Arab Advisors Group's Telecom Strategic Research Service subscribers on February 8, 2006 but can be purchased from the Arab Advisors Group for US$950. Arab Advisors Group will be the research partner for the CABSAT 2006 Exhibition and Broadcast Conference in Dubai on March 7 -9, Stand 659, Hall 6.
