A leading Sudanese operator has implemented a routing optimisation solution to manage quality of service and provide real-time dashboard reporting on its network. Canar Telecommunication has adopted the solution from billing & routing specialist i-conX Solutions.
Canar has selected the i-conX Routing Optimisation Core along with two additional modules, and now enjoys an integrated billing and routing optimisation solution based around a single core database architecture with fully harmonised reference data management.
Chief Executive Officer of Canar, Ali Ahmed Yarouf stated: “As the Sudanese telecom market is becoming increasingly competitive, the implementation of the i-conX routing optimisation solution is considered as an important step for Canar to maintain its leading status. The i-conX solution will support the growth of Canar international traffic with enhanced quality and better management.’’
The integrated solution provides high levels of performance as the user works from one single database architecture and GUI. This removes the need for manual slaving of multiple databases as all modules access the common core of reference data. With its modular approach customers can choose which additional modules they require as and when suits their business model.
