Digicel Samoa announced on Monday it has expanded its nework on Savai’i with the launch of two new telecoms towers in Samalaeulu and Falelima, which it says will improve mobile and data connectivity for customers across the island.
The new towers – which are part of Digicel Samoa’s ongoing network expansion project – will deliver improved coverage for over 3,000 residents, enabling access to better call quality and faster and more reliable data services.
“The launch of our new towers in Samalaeulu and Falelima strengthens our network in Savai’i, enabling our customers to enjoy reliable mobile and data services,” said Digicel Samoa CEO Karl Vizvary in a statement.
Vizvary added that the activation of the Samalaeulu and Falelima towers is one of several planned enhancements across Samoa in 2026 as Digicel Samoa continues its mission to deliver enhanced connectivity and drive digital transformation.
“We will continue to invest in infrastructure that supports communication, digital access, and the growth of Samoa,” he said.
