Yezz makes African debut in Nigeria following Lat Am success

Following significant successes in Latin America, the US-based device brand Yezz is expanding its footprint to Africa.
"The African market offers considerable growth prospects,” says Robert Schiano, Yezz Managing Director in EMEA, “Studies show that the number of smartphones sold by 2017 will double to 350 million units. The Yezz brand has the ambition, portfolio, and capacity to be a major player in Africa’s mobile phone sector. As Nigeria is one of the most significant markets in Africa and an integral global player as well, we are highly motivated to showcase Yezz.”
Technology Distribution (TD) will be used as the exclusive distributor of Yezz in the Nigerian market. The product range will be available for sale online exclusively via Konga.com for the launch period, as well as through partnerships with Yudala and Key Opcos into select open channel retail outlets throughout Nigeria.
Yezz has a diverse product portfolio, offering devices compatible with different operating systems including Android, Windows Phone, and soon Firefox. The manufacturer will launch a broad range of devices to cater to different demands and affordability requirements.
Nigerian consumers are provided with a 24 month warranty on all devices in the product range.
