ZTE and Thai operator AIS said on Monday they have successfully validated one of ZTE’s intelligent network O&M “agents” that use AI to monitor and analyse AIS’ network.
More specifically, AIS has deployed ZTE’s Network Insight Agent – co-developed by both companies under a multi-agent collaboration framework – that leverages generative AI to enable intelligent querying and in-depth analysis of multi-dimensional data, including network structure, coverage, capacity, and equipment health.
The agent automatically generates query strategies, summaries and recommendations, enabling AIS teams to visualize overall network status, identify potential risks, and support proactive planning and optimization.
ZTE said the live-network demonstration of the agent marks a major step forward in AIS's autonomous network evolution, powered by AI models, and establishes a solid foundation for the company's digital strategy.
AIS sad it deployed the agent as part of its strategy to utilise network intelligence innovations to gain operational efficiencies and improve service quality, which is also in response to the rapid growth of AI model technologies.
AIS and ZTE said they will continue to expand the application of large-model technologies in diverse operational scenarios going forward as AIS moves towards enabling a fully autonomous, intelligent network.
