Fintur Group, a mobile operator consortium operating widely in Central Asia and Eastern Europe, has chosen Subex Operations Support Systems to combat fraud. Integration of the new system will be carried out by Gantex.

While Subex will be supplying its OSS to Fintur, Gantek Technologies will act as the turnkey solution provider for the whole deployment. The deployments will start with Moldcell (Moldova), Geocell (Georgia), Azercell (Azerbaijan) and Kcell (Kazakhstan). More specifically, and after a thorough evaluation process, Subex willl deploy deploy its Nikira fraud management system, in turn a key component of the strategic Revenue Operations Center (ROC) across the four operators, with a further three to follow during the next few months.

Subex's software portfolio powers the ROC and its solutions enable new service creation, operational transformation, subscriber-centric fulfillment, provisioning automation, revenue assurance, cost management, data integrity management, fraud management and interconnect/interparty settlement. Subex's customers include 32 of the world's 50 largest service providers. The company has more than 150 installations across 60 countries.
