Huawei and Appledore Jointly Release White Paper ‘Towards Next Generation Telco Billing 3.0’

At Mobile World Congress (MWC 2025), Huawei Service and Software held the Intelligent Operations Summit. During the event, Huawei, in collaboration with Appledore Research, released ‘Towards Next Generation Telco Billing 3.0’, a white paper on Next-Generation Convergent Billing Solution.

This release heralds a new era in billing system evolution, and accelerates digital intelligence transformation across global telecom operations.

Traditional billing systems grapple with critical pain points, such as subpar operational efficiency, elevated billing disputes, and degraded customer experience. They are increasingly failing to meet carriers' evolving strategic imperatives in the intelligent era. To address these pain points, Huawei and Appledore have jointly released the white paper ‘Towards Next Generation Telco Billing 3.0’, a new-generation convergent billing solution white paper. It uses AI technologies to drive the innovation of traditional billing systems, implementing Bill Run AI Assistant, Intelligent Invoice, Intelligent Dispute Management, and Intelligent Collection & Payment. It significantly improves operational efficiency, creates the Zero-Confusion billing experience, and brings new growth opportunities for carriers.
