Georgian mobile operator Geocell has selected Peter-Service to deliver its billing solution.
The project began in 2016 when the operator’s postpaid subscribers were migrated to the new system. Since January 2017, all of Geocell’s postpaid charging and billing processes have been handled by Peter-Service software products.
Geocell places a high emphasis on customer service, and its core billing systems allow the company to run its operations more efficiently in order to better achieve this goal. The company runs separate billing systems for prepaid and postpaid subscribers, and has partnered with Peter Service to migrate its postpaid billing.
The new system from Peter-Service offers a broad array of advanced features and capabilities that are in demand in today’s market: billing is run online; all program components are based on a modular architecture; the system is ready to accommodate frequent changes of any scale to fit the operator’s goals. In 2017, Peter-Service is planning to upgrade the interfaces and some other components of the solution in order to facilitate subscriber management through improved transparency and performance.
